Founded in 1994 by Marla Crowley, who, after ten years of billing experience, realized the need for a billing system that was easy to learn, efficient to use, and affordable. As CEO of Easy Billing Inc. Marla Crowley, along with Easy Billing software developers, undertook to meet the evolving needs of current users and to ensure that the program remains on the leading edge of the medical billing industry.
Twenty years ago, Easy Billing Pro collaborated with the company that developed “AP Easy”, a Pathology LIS (Laboratory Information System). We worked out an “HL7” interface allowing the rapid, accurate and efficient importing of the lab’s patient data into Easy Billing Pro, without extensive manual data entry. In the last twenty years Easy Billing Pro, has been fine tuned to integrate with not only the AP Easy LIS, AP Easy Cloud, but other LIS and EHR software as well. In each case a custom import is developed that captures the specific information that the lab or medical office requires for their billing. Large claim sets can be imported, checked for accuracy, (errors, if any, flagged), and electronically processed in a matter of minutes.
Easy Billing Pro is a robust program offering end users speed and accuracy in claim submission, in processing payments and in sending out patient statements. It is an easy to use, powerful, accurate and efficient medical billing software. Easy Billing Pro outputs its claims using the most current federally required formats (CMS-1500 for paper submissions, 5010 electronic submission protocol), and can easily be updated with the most current ICD-10 and CPT codes.
A hallmark of the Easy Billing Pro is its emphasis on providing excellent customer support and training. We provide a comprehensive training curriculum guided by staff and conducted using web-based seminars, flash tutorials, check lists and PDF step-by-step instructions. Clients are taught how easy it is to grow into the software and realize how hard it is to grow out of it.
